Taronja Negre Mar

In Mallorca the sea is the landscape, the air, the sounds and above all the flavors. The Mediterranean cuisine is food and products, but above all, it is a lifestyle and a way to sit at the table. Dishes made with gentleness and seasonal products are placed in the middle of the table and shared by all.

ORANGE Cheerful, fun and sociable color. The color with more aromas and flavors.

TURQUOISE Refreshing and relaxing color, and full of creativity.

Our cuisine emanates from the Mediterranean Sea and just like the sea, it makes us travel around the world to discover new products and flavors. If turquoise is the color of creativity, our gastronomy looks for tradition, history, character, but above all, our sights set on the future. This is the cuisine that we want to convey. Authentic and genuine gastronomy.

The turquoise and blue sea, the boats, the fish… Our restaurant is soaked by the Mediterranean Sea. Taronja Negre Mar is located within the Club de Mar de Palma, just off the boats that are moored in the harbor. On the seafront and with stunning views over the bay of Palma, it is an oasis in the city.

If you are looking to celebrate a party, a birthday, a wedding, a communion … Celebrations TN offers you ideas for both large and small group events. Several areas are available, as well as our home delivery service. If life is meant to be shared, celebrations even more so.

He has some difficulty with a phrase that he does not get to say with a straight face because he feels it is self-help booklet material. With their constant interruptions the shooting stops. He must stay on the island for four days until another model ship arrives so they can repeat his explosion scene and line. This forced break spending four days in Mallorca will end up with him enjoying, despite his reticence, the benefits of the island.

Since 2009 Estrella Damm has been betting big on the concept of the Mediterranean personality of their product. A lifestyle, culture, gastronomy and way of understanding life. This time presents two emotionally opposing characters: a sour actor and a cheerful tourist guide  who eventually find some common ground.

Shot in several locations in the Balearic Islands, mainly in Majorca, with the soundtrack, Those Little Things by Catalan composer Ramon Mirabet its highlights are: el camí de Sa Figuera (Sóller), Cala Tuent (Escorca) and Caló des Màrmols (Santanyí).

The beautiful nature of those locations and local cuisine soon sweeten the actor’s personality. After a tour of the Serra de Tramuntana, a day of snorkeling and delicious fresh local fish and seafood … Who could manage to stay angry?

He concludes: “Thank you for these days, you have reminded me that the best there is in life is enjoying the little things”. There is no doubt that Majorca is one of those places in the world where you soon learn that few things bring us greater joy than a good climate, nice food and friends to share it all.

Sunset in Mirador de Na Foradada

One day, a peasant went to visit the Archduke Luis Salvador and with a touch of irony said to him: “I wanted to meet the person who has paid so much money for the Son Marroig estate”. The Archduke lowered his head and replied: “In reality, sa Foradada alone is worth much more. The rest can be considered a present”.

g_4b3txpmrnlIt’s the end of the season and so Mirador de Na Foradada Sunsets come to an end too. Mojitos in the “chiringuito” bar and romantic dinners in the restaurant viewpoint go… but not for long as 26 February they will be back for us to enjoy. You may still enjoy the last few days both at bar and restaurant until 15 November. The restaurant Mirador de na Foradada is located on the land of Son Marroig in Deià. Santa Catalina Market

One of the best ways to enjoy a place imagining we live in it and we are just one of its inhabitants is going for a walk and doing some shopping. Traditional food markets are lively places bustling with local sounds, smells and colors and definitely the best way to have a bite its everyday life. They are not only places to buy and sell, they are also a gastronomic reference that can be an excellent compass to better understand the area and its people.

Today we are opening the doors of Santa Catalina Market, the oldest one in the city. It is located in the homonymous district of Palma, one of the most cosmopolitan areas traditionally inhabited by fishermen due to its proximity to the sea, it is quite a landmark.

Local crafts, food producers, retailers and experts in multiple areas… there are many different stalls to be visited from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 to 17:00. A real paradise for foodie travelers indeed.

Some people prefer to do some shopping to prepare their own Majorcan feast with a varied menu of the most important local products back in their holiday apartments or villas. Some go to enjoy a different lunch at Bar des Mercat.

It is quite a shock for the tourists to see they are experts cooking on the grill the products one has previously bought in the same market. It is quite a different kind of place to have your lunch. The best is that one can choose exactly what they want to have, take it to them and they cook it for you in a very professional way. And the  best is yet to come: When it comes to the bill you just pay your drinks and a fixed price for their elaboration. Quite an experience… many are ready to queue for.

Bars, meat and fish, cold meat and sausages, bakeries and pastry shops, fruit and vegetables, florists, wine, organic products … The offer is huge. Would you like to know the stalls in detail?
